Count down til road trip Allentown is in motion-9 days!
Do the Running Man!
Are you in peak cardio condition?!
So yes its cold outside, and today I braved the cold for a basic three mile run. The entire time I was thinking, why,Why,WHY?!... I hate the cold, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!
Other days, like yesterday, I was not brave and I hit the treadmill at LA Fitness.... here are few tips that Briene and I have been doing during our training for Tough Mudder!
1) Get on a treadmill-once your there half the battle is over.
... Start jogging at a slow comfortable pace at first, then increase the speed and inclines. Fart-legs of a full sprint for an entire minute then going back down to a normal pace job is one way to train, but for this Tough Mudder recently i have just been RUNNING! RUNNING + HILLS..oh the joy! When were training on the treadmills, Bri's the one pushing me more towards a sprint, while I like to battle it off with the hills with a stolid stride.
2) Free run.
Today,March 30th I decided to run in my neighborhood, a wonderful challenge. Go left from my house, its down hills then flats and up hills again. Go right and it's an up hill battle, then up three more hills til you reach the flats...flats which remind me of a roller coaster because even though it is flat, you are defiantly running slight up and down hills til you reach another big hill towards my high school.

I do hope the weather clears up a bit, and it is not as cold and nasty out for Tough Mudder...just saying =]
